Preheat the oven to 180 ºC.

Peel the potatoes and cut into equal pieces. Boil them in water with salt in 20 minutes until done.

In the meantime, halve the cleaned sprouts and boil them in water and salt for 5 minutes. Drain and rinse cold under running water.

In the meantime, heat a skillet without oil or butter. Chop the almonds coarsely and toast in 3 min. Golden brown. Let cool on a plate.

Heat the milk at the same time for 2 minutes. Pour the potatoes and grate them with the puree rammer. Beat the milk with a whisk through the puree.

Add the butter, nutmeg and cheese. Carefully sprinkle the sprouts, the cut pieces of ham and almonds.

Distribute over the baking dish. Cut the rest of the butter into flakes and spread over them. Bake for about 15 minutes in the oven.
