Steak pepper sauce

A tasty recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: meat, steak (premium (a 2 pieces), at room temperature), butter, beef stock (pot 380 ml), whipped cream (125 ml) and pepper (from the mill).

Directions

  1. Sprinkle the steaks with salt and pepper. Heat a frying pan over high heat and put 25 g of butter in the pan as soon as it is hot. Wait until the foam of the butter disappears and put the meat in the pan. Add the rest of the butter after 1 min.
  2. Keep the steaks moving. Fry the steaks as desired, medium or well done. Remove the steaks from the pan and leave on a (hot) plate for 5 minutes under a lid or aluminum foil.
  3. In the meantime, pour the fat out of the pan. Put the pan back on medium heat, pour in the fondue and stir up any cakings. Leave to boil for 2 minutes. Add the whipped cream and leave to boil for another 3 minutes. Season with (much) coarsely ground pepper and salt. Spoon the sauce over the steaks.
