Steamed chicken with carrot ribbons
A tasty recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: poultry, chicken fillet, fresh ginger, soy sauce, winter carrots, spring onions (3 pieces), snow peas (cleaned), garden peas (pack a 450 g, frozen) and lemon (squeezed).

Cut the chicken fillet into thin slices.

Press the ginger with a firm garlic press, stir it through the soy sauce and scoop the whole through the chicken breast.

Leave it for at least 5 minutes.

In the meantime, peel the winter carrot and scrape it into long ribbons.

Also cut the spring onion lengthwise in long strips.

Place the chicken with the carrot ribbons in a steam basket or in a colander over a pan of boiling water.

Steam the chicken with the lid on the pan for 2-3 minutes.

Add the snow peas and garden peas and steam for another 10 minutes.

Then steam for another 2 minutes.

Divide the vegetables and chicken over 4 plates and drizzle with lemon juice and (freshly ground) pepper to taste.
