Stew with sprouts, apple and bacon


Variation stew of sprouts with fresh apple and fried bacon, tasty with game or stew.

Directions

  1. Peel the potatoes and the apples. Remove the core from the apples and cut the flesh into pieces. Halve the sprouts.
  2. Boil the potatoes and apples in a pan with a thick bottom in plenty of water for about 20 minutes.
  3. Fry the bacon cubes without oil or butter in 3-4 min. Crunchy. Remove from the pan and drain on kitchen paper.
  4. Stir-fry the sprouts for 5 minutes in the bacon fat. Add a dash of water and let the sprouts cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Spoon the bacon cubes through the sprouts and season with pepper.
  6. Heat the milk in a saucepan over low heat. Drain the potatoes and apples and puree with hot milk and butter with a puree mash.
  7. Mix the sprouts through it. Season the stew with salt and pepper and spread over the plates. Yummy! .
