Stew with stir-fried Brussels sprouts


A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, potatoes (floury), sprouts, onion, salt, (olive) oil, curry powder, milk and (freshly ground) pepper.

Directions

  1. Peel potatoes, wash and cut into cubes.
  2. sprouts and cut into 1/2 cm slices.
  3. Peel and finely chop onions.
  4. Fry potatoes in 10 to 15 minutes in a pan with little water and salt.
  5. Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a wok or skillet.
  6. sprouts, onion and curry powder for about 2 minutes.
  7. Add 2 tablespoons of water and stir-fry for another 5 minutes.
  8. Drain potatoes, crush with mashed pestle and stir with milk and remaining oil to puree puree.
