Stewed beef patties with potato slices and sprouts.

Chop the onion finely. Cut the gingerbread into cubes. Season the meat with salt and pepper.

Let the butter brown in a frying pan. Fry the beef over medium heat every 2 minutes. Remove from the pan.

Fry the onion in the butter 3 minutes. Stir in the tomato puree and ground pepper and cook for 1 min.

Add the mustard, the water and the gingerbread and bring to the boil.

Add the meat again and simmer with the lid on the pan on the very lowest heat in about 2 hours.

Boil the potatoes in a layer of water with salt to taste for about 10 minutes. Drain.

Clean the sprouts and boil them in plenty of boiling water with salt in approx. 8 min. Drain. Add the butter and season with pepper.

Divide the meat over plates. Place the potatoes and sprouts next to them. Spoon the gravy over it.
