Stewed ham steaks with green beans
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, ham, butter or margarine, onions (in half rings), raisins (bag of 500 g), mustard, solid cooking potatoes (a 450 g), green beans (very fine (450 g, frozen) ), cherry tomatoes ((250 g) and halved).

Rub the ham pen with salt and pepper. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a frying pan and fry the hampen on high heat on both sides. Remove the meat from the pan and fry the onions until golden brown. Put the meat back, add the raisins and mustard, pour 250 ml of water and bring it to the boil. Cook the meat in 20 minutes.

Cook the potatoes according to the instructions on the package. Cook the green beans in 6 minutes until crispy. Drain the beans and shake the cherry tomatoes with 1 tablespoon of butter through the green beans. Drain the potatoes.

Serve the ham with raisin sauce, boiled potatoes and green beans.
