Stir-fried red cabbage with thyme
A tasty Dutch recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: red cabbage (about 800 g), olive oil, onion (chopped), sugar, fresh thyme (or 2 tsp dried thyme), redcurrant juice (a 250 ml) and freshly ground black pepper.

Remove the outer leaves from the coals and cut them into thin parts.

Cut the hard stalk from the cabbage.

Chop the parts red cabbage in the food processor into small pieces.

Heat the olive oil in a stirring fruit until the onion chips are translucent.

Stir in the sugar and let it light brown.

Then pour in the red cabbage and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.

Spoon the thyme through the red cabbage and add the berry juice.

Season the red cabbage with salt and pepper.

Let the coals gently simmer for another 15 minutes.

Delicious with bratwurst or stewed beef..
