Remove the crowns from the strawberries and halve. Cut the strawberries into thick slices and spread out on a low scale.

Beat the mascarpone, curd cheese and vanilla sugar into a cream with a mixer. Spread the mascarpone cream over the strawberries.

In a small saucepan, bring the butter and brown sugar to the boil while stirring.

Pour the sugar-butter mixture over the mascarpone cream. Put covered in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
