Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  2. Soak the bread in the milk.
  3. Mix the apple with the walnuts, cinnamon, apricot jam, salt, pepper and squeezed bread.
  4. Fill the chicken with this filling.
  5. Close the abdominal cavity with sticks or baste close with kitchen yarn.
  6. Rub the chicken with the chicken herbs.
  7. Pour the apple juice into a roasting pan or ovenproof frying pan and add the butter.
  8. Put the chicken in and cook in the oven in about 75 minutes.
  9. Baste regularly with roasting liquid.
  10. Add the cooking cream after 20 minutes.
  11. Tasty with fried potatoes and cauliflower or broccoli.
