Directions

  1. Rub the slices of beef with salt, pepper and clove powder. Heat half of the butter in the frying pan.
  2. Fry the meat in about 10 minutes brown. Peel 1 apple, remove the core and cut the apple into pieces.
  3. Add the onion, apple pieces, gingerbread and beer to the meat. Let it simmer gently with the lid on the pan for about 2 hours.
  4. Wash the other apple, drill out the core and cut the apple into 8 slices.
  5. Heat the remaining butter in a frying pan and fry the apple slices for 2 minutes. Turn the slices halfway carefully.
  6. Place the slices of beef on the plates.
  7. Spoon some of the cooking liquid, possibly mashed, over it and place the apple slices on top of each other. Divide the parsley over it.
