Directions
-
Boil the rice according to the instructions on the package. Put in a large bowl and stir in the vinegar. Allow to cool to room temperature.
-
Cut the salmon in width into thin slices. Cut the nori sheet into 24 pieces.
-
Halve the unpeeled cucumber lengthwise and cut into flat strips of approx. 3 x 1 x ½ cm. Cut the cress off as long as possible.
-
Place a piece of cling film on the worktop per sushibal. Put a piece of salmon over it, a piece of nori, a piece of cucumber and some cress.
-
Divide the sesame seed over it. Put 1 tbsp rice on it.
-
Pull the foil tightly around it so that a small ball is created. Turn the foil on both sides, as with a candy. Make 23 balls.
-
Mix the wasabi and mayonnaise. Remove the foil and serve the sushi balls with the wasabimayo.
