Sushi balls


Snack made of sushi with rice, cucumber, cress, salmon, nori and wasabi.

Directions

  1. Boil the rice according to the instructions on the package. Put in a large bowl and stir in the vinegar. Allow to cool to room temperature.
  2. Cut the salmon in width into thin slices. Cut the nori sheet into 24 pieces.
  3. Halve the unpeeled cucumber lengthwise and cut into flat strips of approx. 3 x 1 x ½ cm. Cut the cress off as long as possible.
  4. Place a piece of cling film on the worktop per sushibal. Put a piece of salmon over it, a piece of nori, a piece of cucumber and some cress.
  5. Divide the sesame seed over it. Put 1 tbsp rice on it.
  6. Pull the foil tightly around it so that a small ball is created. Turn the foil on both sides, as with a candy. Make 23 balls.
  7. Mix the wasabi and mayonnaise. Remove the foil and serve the sushi balls with the wasabimayo.
