Sweet-spicy salad with garlic croutons


A tasty recipe. The vegetarian lunch contains the following ingredients: ciabatta ((bread), in dice), garlic (pressed), olive oil, apples (green), lemon juice, balsamic vinegar, rucola salad (75 g), boiled beet ((500 g) and in thin to stick).

Directions

  1. Spoon the pieces of bread with the garlic and 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  2. Sprinkle with salt and (freshly ground) pepper.
  3. Bake the bread cubes in a frying pan over medium heat until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Wash the apples and carefully remove the core with an apple drill.
  5. Cut the apples horizontally (with the hole in the middle) into thin slices and sprinkle them with the lemon juice to prevent discoloration.
  6. Beat 2 tablespoons of oil with the balsamic vinegar and scoop the arugula, season with salt and (freshly ground) pepper.
  7. Divide the arugula over 4 plates.
  8. Divide the slices of beet and the slices of apple over the arugula.
  9. Sprinkle with salt and (freshly ground) pepper to taste.
  10. Divide the croutons over the salad..
