Directions

Mix 100 ml white wine or 80 ml white wine and 20 ml cognac, vieux or orange liqueur with 4 tablespoons white caster sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.

Pour 300 ml of unsweetened whipped cream into a stream while beating with the mixer. Beat the mixture at low speed until it is thick and stays in soft peaks.

Put the syllabub in 4 glasses and put them in the fridge until use.

Garnish with roasted pecan or pistachio nuts.
