Tagliatelle with spicy cheese sauce
A tasty Italian recipe. The vegetarian main course contains the following ingredients: fresh tagliatelle, milk, mature cheese (with cumin, grated), cornstarch, raspberry vinegar, olive oil, vine tomatoes (in thin slices), peeled pistachio nuts (unsalted (55 g)) and cress.
Cook the tagliatelle al dente according to the instructions on the package.
Heat the milk in a saucepan and let the cheese melt in it.
Stir 3 tbsp hot water through the cornstarch and stir it through the milk-cheese mixture.
Season the cheese sauce with salt and (freshly ground) pepper.
Keep the cheese sauce warm on low heat; add an extra dash of milk if the sauce becomes too thick.
Beat the vinegar and oil a dressing.
Season with salt and (freshly ground) pepper.
Sprinkle the dressing over the slices of tomato, sprinkle the tomato salad with the pistachio nuts and cut the cress above the salad of the bed.
Scoop the cheese sauce with the warm tagliatelle.
Serve directly with the tomato salad..
