Ingredients
Directions
-
Wash the oranges well and cut the orange part of the peel of the oranges with a sharp knife.
-
Cut this into thin strips and put them in a saucepan with the sugar and the Cointreau.
-
Fill with water until all peels are under water.
-
Put the pan on the heat and let it cook slowly until the peels are caramelized.
-
Allow them to cool and cut very finely.
-
Add the chocolate, the orange peel and the fresh mint to the butter and mix everything well.
-
Roll out a piece of plastic foil and pour the butter on it.
-
Fold the foil over the butter and roll a 'sausage' from it.
-
Close the ends and place the roll in the freezer.
-
Remove the roll from the freezer half an hour before use and cut 6 thin slices of butter.
-
Cut the cherry slivers into slices and serve together with the butter.
