Torrijas - French toast with honey
A tasty Spanish recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: petit pains (afbakbrood, a 4 pieces), eggs, milk, cinnamon powder, liquid honey, mild olive oil and sherry (Pedro Ximenez or cream sherry).

Cut each petit diagonally into 4 long slices.

Beat eggs in deep plate.

Heat milk to lukewarm in a skillet.

Stir in cinnamon and 3 tbsp honey.

Take the pan of fire, put the bread in quick succession into milk and turn it over.

Heat half of oil in large frying pan.

Paste the bread one by one through the beaten egg and bake golden brown with 4 pieces at the same time in 2 minutes.

Divide French toast on four plates and sprinkle with sherry and the rest of honey.

Delicious with a big roll of roll-up ice cream..
