Sprinkle the meat with cinnamon powder, cloves powder and pepper. Heat the olive oil and fry the meat cubes around brown. Add salt to taste.

Fry the shallots for 5 minutes. Press the garlic cloves above it. Add 2 dl of water and simmer for at least 1 hour with lid on the pan.

Let the peppers and dates simmer for the last 20 minutes. Add the banana slices for the last 5 minutes.

Serve the dish, sprinkled with parsley, with brown rice or mashed potatoes.
