Kitchen Stuff
Directions
-
Puree the chickpeas and the corn with the hand blender. Do not grind it too much. Slice the spring onions fine and paprika. Mix the spring onion, paprika, cumin and curry powder with chickpeas and corn.
-
Season to taste with pepper and salt and mix in the breadcrumbs. Let stand for 10 minutes. This makes the mixture firmer.
-
Make 4 burgers from the mixture. Sprinkle the rest of the breadcrumbs on a plate and press the burgers on both sides into the breadcrumbs. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the burgers for 4 minutes. Turn them halfway.
-
Mix the rest of the oil through the lettuce. Squeeze out the lemon. Season with the lemon juice, pepper and salt. Toast the slices of bread in the toaster or on the grill pan.
-
Divide some lettuce over half of the slices of bread. Place the burgers on them and cover with the other slices. Serve the rest of the lettuce. Delicious with gherkin, silver onions or olives.
