Winter sandwich with bacon and honey-mustard sauce
Tosti with pancetta, sauerkraut, honey, dijon mustard and cheddar.
Heat a frying pan without oil or butter and fry the pancetta in 3 min. Turn halfway.
Scoop out of the pan with a slotted spoon and drain on kitchen paper.
Meanwhile, put the sauerkraut in a sieve, rinse well under cold running water and let it drain. Grate the cheddar.
Mix the honey with the mustard. Spread the slices of multigrain bread with the honey-mustard sauce and divide the pancetta, sauerkraut and grated cheddar over it.
Place the rest of the slices on and press firmly.
Spread the outer edges of the bread with the butter.
Heat a large frying pan (or 2 smaller ones) and fry the sandwiches in 6-8 minutes until golden brown. Turn halfway.
