Extra requirements: food processor.

Cut the slices of bread into cubes and put them with the walnuts in the food processor.

Grind this into a crumbly mass.

Chop the parsley and beat the eggs.

Add the cheese and parsley with half of the egg and some salt and freshly ground pepper.

Mix while turning until it is a sticky mince.

Add more egg bit by bit, the mixture must remain firm.

Divide the walnut mince into 4 equal portions and shape with moist hands into firm, flat burgers.

Put the burgers on a plate and let the burgers stiffen in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the burgers in 6-8 minutes until golden brown.

Turn them carefully after 3-4 minutes using a spatula.

Serve the walnut burgers with slices of baked apple on them.
