Grind the walnuts in a food processor and roast for a few minutes in a dry, hot frying pan.

Mix the almond paste with the egg in the food processor and add the roasted walnuts and cinnamon. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.

Sprinkle the work surface with powdered sugar and form a roll of the nut mixture. Cut the roll into slices of about 2 cm thick and press 1/2 walnut in each piece.

Spread over the baking sheet and fry the walnut mops in the oven for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
