White bean soup with sprouts


A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, olive oil, onion (chopped), garlic (chopped), sprouts (ready, 350 g), dried thyme, white beans (a 850 g), meat broth (from tablet) and ham.

Directions

  1. Heat 3 tbsp oil in a soup pan and fry the onion and garlic gently in glass for 4-5 minutes.
  2. Cut the sprouts in four and fry for 1 minute.
  3. Add the thyme and the contents of both cans of white beans.
  4. Pour in the stock and bring the soup to the boil while stirring.
  5. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Use a pestle to crush the vegetables and stir well until the soup is nicely bound.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Cut the ham into broad strips and fry them in a frying pan in 1 tbsp of oil.
  9. Spoon the soup into four bowls and spread the ham over it..
