Wholemeal pancake pie
Organic recipe for a pie of wholemeal pancakes with hazelnut paste, white chocolate, nuts and strawberries.

Put the flour, eggs, salt and milk in a bowl and beat with a whisk or hand mixer to a smooth batter.

Melt a knob of butter in two frying pans with non-stick coating. Spoon a heap of 12 cm diameter into each pan.

Bake the pancakes in 2 minutes brown and done. Turn halfway. Make 10 more pancakes. In the meantime, put some extra butter in the pan.

Let the pancakes cool down. Meanwhile, grate the white chocolate. Chop the nuts coarsely. Remove the crowns from the strawberries and halve the strawberries.

Spread each pancake with 1 tbsp hazelnut spread and sprinkle half with chocolate spread.

Stack the pancakes together. Start with a pancake with only hazelnut paste.

Divide the nuts and strawberries over the top of the pancake pie.
