Is light chips healthier than regular chips?

What does light mean?
-
'Light' is a protected claim. Light products contain either at least 30% less sugar or 30% less fat or 30% fewer calories than in a similar product. In the case of light chips, it contains at least 30% less fat. But that does not mean that it also contains 30% fewer calories, light chips contain 10% fewer calories. That's because diet chips contain proportionally more carbohydrates and proteins, and they also provide calories.

Now and then Light chips and regular chips are both high-calorie products that you should only eat exceptionally.
