How do you make a probiotic drink?

  1. Preparing the milk kefir is really very simple. Put the florets in a glass jar or weck bottle and add about ten times the amount of milk. Then put this mixture away in a dark place for at least 24 hours. In a kitchen cupboard, for example. The fatter the milk you use, the thicker the milk kefir will become. You then get a bit of a drinking yoghurt. After 24 hours (longer is also possible), pour the mixture through a colander (note: do not use a metal colander, the kefir roses do not like that very much). The florets that remain in the colander you then put back in a clean glass jar with milk again for the next time. The drink that came through the colander is the ready-to-drink milk kefir, the healthy probiotic drink. This one is best when you put it in the fridge for a while.
