Bacon steak with sweet-sour beetroot
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, traditional olive oil, barbecue minicrock and onion.

Heat the oil in a frying pan. Sprinkle the bacon on both sides with salt and pepper and fry in 18 min. Until golden brown and done; times regularly.

In the meantime, heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the potatoes for 10-12 min. Brown and done. Cut the onion into half rings and the beets into wedges.

Remove the bacon from the pan and keep it warm on a plate under a lid. Pour the fat on 2 tbsp from the pan. Fry the onion 1 min.

Spoon the beetroot and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Add the vinegar and the ginger syrup and heat for 1-2 minutes. Season with the thyme and salt and pepper.

Divide the potatoes over the plates and add the sweet-sour beetroot.
