Banana chips with mango chutney (caribbean and suriname)
A nice Surinamese recipe. The vegetarian appetizer contains the following ingredients: hard bananas (not quite ripe), flour, fine sea salt, sweet mango chutney and deep-frying oil.

Do not take fully ripe, hard bananas for this recipe: they stay nice and firm during frying.

Cut 3 bananas diagonally into thin slices and put them in a container with cold water and 1 teaspoon of salt for 5 minutes.

Let the slices drain well and carefully pat dry with kitchen paper.

Spread them thinly on both sides with flour.

Heat oil in a deep fryer to 180 ° C and fry the slices of banana in small portions in 2-3 minutes until crispy brown.
