Directions

  1. Cut the bananas into slices and freeze them in about 3 hours.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Mix the almonds with the espresso powder and the maple syrup and spread over a griddle covered with parchment paper.
  3. Bake 10 minutes and let the nuts cool slightly before you chop them roughly.
  4. Put the frozen banana slices in the food processor and mash them with the almond milk and the rest of the espresso powder.
  5. The mixture slowly changes its structure: from grainy pieces of banana to finally creamy soft ice cream.
  6. Scrape occasionally along the sides of the bowl if necessary.
