Basic risotto
A tasty Italian recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: poultry, parmesan cheese (piece), butter, onion (chopped), risotto rice (bag 500 g), dry white wine and hot chicken broth (eg of tablets).

Make sure all ingredients are ready. Grate 2/3 of the cheese. Heat half the butter in a pan, preferably one with a thick bottom because it distributes the heat better. Add the onion and fruit 3 min. Step.

Add the rice and cook for 3 minutes until the grains shine. Add the wine and stir until it is absorbed and the alcohol has largely evaporated.

Add a dash of stock and stir until it is absorbed. Then add another shoot. Repeat until the rice is cooked. This is still firm but no longer hard; check if necessary by tasting. This takes about 20 min.

Turn off the heat. Add the grated cheese and the rest of the butter. Put the lid on the pan and let stand for 3 minutes. Then stir the cheese and butter through the risotto. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately. Grate the rest of the cheese over it. Delicious with, for example, green asparagus tips and garden peas extra fine.
