Heat a dry skillet, turn down the heat and grate the fennel seed, shake the pan from time to time until the aroma is released.

Shake the seeds in a mortar and rub them with a pestle. Set aside.

Puree all ingredients together in a food processor. Season the sauce to taste with salt and give the flavors 30 minutes to mix.
