Green beans in a spicy sauce of tomato, garlic and basil.

Slice the garlic. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and fry until golden brown in 3 minutes.

Add the tomato cubes, hot water, pepper and salt and cook for 10 minutes on low heat or until the sauce has thickened slightly.

In the meantime, remove the stalk of the green beans and boil for 6 minutes in a large pan of boiling water. Drain and add the beans to the tomato sauce.

Cook for another 5 minutes on low heat. Tear the basil leaves over the pan, add the oil and serve.
