Biscotti with cranberry and chocolate
Biscotti cookies with cranberry and chocolate
- 1 medium oranges cleaned up
- 60 g unsalted butter at room temperature
- 100 g fine cristalsugar
- 1 tl vanilla aroma
- 3 medium sized egg
- 300 g wheat flour
- 1,5 tl baking powder
- Tl salt
- 50 g dried cranberries
- 100 g brown almonds
- 75 g White chocolate
- 75 g dark chocolate
Preheat the oven to 160 ° C.
Grate the orange zest of the orange. Mix the butter, sugar, 1 tsp rasp and the vanilla flavor with a blender in 5 min. Airy and creamy.
Add the eggs. Only add a new egg if the previous one is completely included.
Sift the flour, the baking powder and salt over a bowl. Spatula gently through the batter.
Mix the cranberries and almonds through the dough and divide the dough into two.
Form with bars of floured or greased hands 2 bars of about 1.5 cm high, 5 cm wide and 30 cm long.
Bake for about 30 minutes in the middle of the oven. Allow to cool for 5 minutes.
Cut the bars into slices of approx. 2 cm thick. Put them on the baking sheet.
Bake for about 15 minutes in the oven. Allow to cool completely on a grid in 2 hours.
Break the white chocolate into pieces and melt for 30 seconds in the microwave at 800 watts. Stir through and put in the microwave for another 30 seconds. Do the same with the dark chocolate.
Drizzle the biscuits in a zigzagging motion with the liquid chocolate. Yummy! .
