Directions

  1. Boil the (frozen) blueberries with the sugar and 200 ml of water for 5-8 minutes at a low setting until the sugar has melted and the berries are broken.
  2. Sift this syrup over a bowl and press the berries well with a spoon. Remove the pulp from the sieve and pour the lemon juice through the sieve at the syrup. Stir through and allow to cool for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Spread the syrup over 4 glasses, add the ice cubes and pour 250 ml of carbonated mineral water.
