Cheese figures
A tasty Dutch recipe. The vegetarian main course contains the following ingredients: fresh chives (a 25 grams), breadcrumbs, egg, flour, young cheese (about 1/2 cm thick) and oil.

Cut the chives into small pieces above a deep plate and mix in the breadcrumbs. Beat the egg loose in another plate. Sprinkle the flour on another plate. Cut the crusts off the cheese.

Draw a figure on the paper and cut it out. Now you have a template. Put it on a slice of cheese and cut out the shape with a sharp knife. Do the same with the other 3 slices of cheese.

Get the cheese figures with both sides first through the flour, then through the egg, then through the breadcrumbs. Make sure that the cheese is well covered with the breading mixture.

Put the oil in a frying pan and place it on the stove. Fry the cheese figures on a half-high heat for about 3 minutes on one side. Turn them over and bake the other side for about 2 minutes. Let them drain on kitchen paper. Serve the cheese figures with fries.
