Chicken Chow Mein


Noodles with chicken, mushrooms, spring onions, peppers, carrots, bean sprouts and oyster sauce.

Directions

  1. Cut the chicken fillet into strips. Heat the oil in a wok. Mix the chicken with the cornstarch. Shake off excess cornstarch.
  2. Fry the chicken in 3 servings for 2 min each time. Scoop on a plate.
  3. Clean the peppers and cut into strips. Bring a pot of water to the boil and cook the pepper for 1 min. Scoop out of the water.
  4. Cook the shiitake 30 sec. in the same water. Drain. Cook the noodles according to the instructions on the package.
  5. Peel and cut the ginger together with the garlic into slices. Cut the spring onion into pieces. Pour the oil out of the wok. Make the wokskenschoon.
  6. Heat the oil and fry the ginger, garlic and spring onions for 1 min. Add the peppers and shiitake and fry for 1 more minute.
  7. Add the chicken, oyster sauce and the water and heat for 1 min. Scoop the noodles, carrot and bean sprouts through them. Season with salt and pepper.
