Chicken burger with zeeuwse sprouts


A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: poultry, nut rice (275 g), Brussels sprouts (500 g), olive oil, Zeeland bacon (in strips), onion (finely chopped), chicken burgers and fresh mint (coarsely chopped).

Directions

  1. Boil the rice according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Clean the sprouts and boil them for 8 minutes in little salt water.
  3. Drain and drain.
  4. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan and bake the bacon in 2 minutes.
  5. Add the onion and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Add the sprouts and fry them while stirring in 2 minutes.
  7. Heat the rest of the oil in a frying pan.
  8. Fry the chicken burgers over medium heat in 5 minutes on both sides until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Spoon the fresh mint through the sprouts and season with salt and pepper.
  10. Divide the sprouts and the nut rice over 4 plates.
  11. Cut the chicken burgers into strips and place them on the sprouts..
