Chicken tonato with cherry tomatoes
Italian chicken tonnato with cherry tomatoes and capers.
Remove the basil leaves from the twigs. Puree the tuna with the mayonnaise and the basil leaves in the food processor to a smooth puree.
Add a ½ tbsp of caper juice and a little water until it is a nice thick sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
Cut the cherry tomatoes into quarters and tear the remaining basil into pieces.
Spoon the to, capers with the oil and basil in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
Place all chicken strips on an elongated dish.
Spoon the tuna sauce in a long streak over it and spread the tomato-caper mixture over it. Serve immediately.
