Chili con carne with minced beef, peppers, kidney beans, pineapple and rice

Chop the onion. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the onion for 3 minutes.

Add the minced meat and fry the flour and brown. Season with the cumin, pepper and salt.

Clean the peppers and cut into narrow strips. Drain the beans and pineapple pieces. Add the peppers and beans to the minced meat.

Pour in the water, put the lid on the pan and simmer for 15 minutes on low heat. Add some water if the chili con carne is too dry.

Add the pineapple and let it simmer for another 8 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the rice according to the instructions on the package.

Divide the chili con carne and the rice over the plates.
