Chopped leek biscuits with potato balls
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, leeks, olive oil, minced meat (half-to-half), egg, potato balls (600 g, frozen) and cucumber.

Preheat the oven to 225 ° C. Wash the leek and cut into rings. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a frying pan and fry the leeks for 5 min. On a medium heat. Allow to cool down.

Put the minced meat in a bowl and knead in the leek and the egg. Add (freshly ground) pepper and salt to taste. Use your hands to form 8 cookies of the mixture. Heat the remaining oil in a frying pan and fry the chopped leek biscuits in about 15 minutes on both sides until golden brown and done.

Meanwhile, fry the potato balls in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes until golden brown and done. Cut the ribs of the cucumber with a cheese slicer. Serve the minced leek cookies with the potato balls and the cucumber.
