Chops with cloves sauce
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, shoulder chops, cloves, olive oil, onion (chopped), meat broth, potatoes (slightly crumbly), red cabbage with apple (660 g) and whipped cream (125 ml).

Dab the chops dry with kitchen paper and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Squeeze the cloves on a shelf with the convex side of a spoon.

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan and fry the chops on both sides in 5 minutes.

Take the meat out of the pan.

Heat the rest of the oil in the same pan and fry the onion for 2 minutes.

Pour the stock and add the spatulas with a spatula.

Put back the meat, add 150 ml of water and the crushed cloves and bring to the boil.

Turn down the heat and simmer the meat with the lid half on the pan for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, peel the potatoes and cut them into pieces.

Boil them in water with salt in 15 minutes until done.

Take the pork chops out of the pan and keep the meat warm under aluminum foil.

Stir 75 ml of whipped cream through the cooking liquid.

Heat the sauce for 3-5 minutes, to the desired thickness and add pepper and salt to taste.

Add the rest of the whipped cream to the red cabbage.

Divide the meat with the clove sauce over 4 plates and add the potatoes and red cabbage..
