Club sandwich with tomato and sardines


A tasty recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, beef tomatoes, fresh Italian herbs (finely chopped), black pepper (freshly ground), olive oil, Pain (de Boulogne), mayonnaise (with yoghurt), arugula, sardine fillets (120 g) and drained).

Directions

  1. Preheat the grill element of the oven. Cut the tomatoes longitudinally into slices of over 1 cm thick and place them side by side in a baking tin. Sprinkle the Italian herbs and salt and pepper to taste over the tomato slices. Finally, sprinkle the olive oil over it.
  2. Place the baking tin 10 cm under the grill in the oven and let the tomatoes light in approx. 3 minutes. Allow the tomatoes to cool.
  3. Roast the slices of bread in the toaster until golden brown and brush them with mayonnaise. Divide the arugula over 4 slices. Place the slices of tomato on these slices and on them the open sardines. Sprinkle some pepper over it.
  4. Make a stack of 2 slices each on 2 plates. Put the last slices of bread on the mayonnaise side. Put 2 skewers in each stack and cut the club sandwich diagonally with a large knife.
