Cod with chickpeas
A tasty Italian recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, cod fillets (a 250 g), olive oil, garlic (in slices), oregano, chickpeas ((a 200 g), drained) and lemon (in parts).

Divide the cod into 8 pieces. Sprinkle with 2 tsp salt. Put in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Meanwhile, heat 4 tablespoons of oil in a saucepan and fry the garlic for 3 minutes on low heat. Add the oregano, chickpeas and 6 tbsp water. Allow to heat for 20 minutes on low heat.

Rinse the salt from the fish and pat dry with kitchen paper. Sprinkle with pepper. Heat the rest of the oil in a frying pan and fry the fish in just 5 minutes. Turn halfway. Serve on the peas and garnish with the lemon. Nice after the fusilli al prosciutto and with the endive salad.
