Drain the beet. Pel onion and chop. Peel apple and chop. Chop the pickle. Spoon the onion, apple and pickle through the mayonnaise.

Make the mashed potatoes according to the instructions on the package. Warm the food jars up according to the instructions on the package.

Divide the beetroot over plates. Spoon the mayonnaise mixture on it. Serve with the gingerbread and mashed potatoes.
