Dukkah of nadia and mare


Nut-spice mixture of sesame seeds, coriander seeds, anise seeds, fennel seeds and sesame seeds.

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ºC.
  2. Spread the almonds, sesame seeds, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, anise seeds, fennel seeds and the dried oregano on a baking tray.
  3. Put the baking sheet in the oven for about 8 minutes, until the nuts and spices start to smell. Cover in between.
  4. Stamp the roasted ingredients roughly in the mortar.
  5. Grate the orange zest of the orange.
  6. Finally stir in the sesame seeds and 1 tbsp orange zest through the dukkah.
