Egg in spicy sauce
A delicious indonesian recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: eggs, sunflower oil, onions (chopped), garlic (finely chopped), sambal oelek, tomato puree (70 g), tomato cubes (400 g), sugar and seroendeng (jar 100 g).

Boil the eggs hard in 8 minutes. Let them scare and peel them. Heat the oil in a stir frying the eggs in 4 min. Brown.

Remove the eggs from the wok, pour the oil out but leave 2 tbsp oil in the pan. Fry the onion and garlic 3 min. Add the sambal, tomato paste, tomato cubes, sugar and 100 ml water and bring to the boil. Place the eggs in the sauce and simmer for 20 minutes on low heat. Remove the eggs from the sauce with a spoon and halve them.

Divide the sauce over 6 bowls, put the eggs in and sprinkle with the seroendeng.
