Fish masala with redfish fillet
A nice Surinamese recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, redfish fillet, chicken masala (herb paste, 360 g), onion (in rings), garlic (chopped), oil, fish broth (from tablet), stuck potatoes (in pieces), ready-to-cook cabbage (300 g), garden peas (frozen, a 450 g) and celery (coarsely cut).

Place the fish in a bowl with 2 tbsp chicken masala mixture and store in a refrigerator.

In the meantime, fry onion and garlic for 1 min.

In oil with thick bottoms.

Add the rest of masala mixture, stock and potatoes.

Cook gently for 15 minutes.

add the coal and let it simmer for another 5 minutes.

Let the potato mixture quickly cool in pan and keep it covered in a refrigerator until use.

Preparation: Heat potato mixture.

Place the fish on top and cover with the lid on the pan in 8-10 minutes.
