French toast of wholemeal bread from estée strooker


French toast without bread from Estée Strooker made from wholemeal rusks, cinnamon, milk and eggs.

Directions

  1. Beat the eggs together with the milk, the cinnamon and some salt in a bowl.
  2. Well the rusks in the milk mixture and make sure they have the possibility to suck well.
  3. So leave the French toast for at least 10 minutes in the milk mixture.
  4. Heat a frying pan with the butter. Let the butter melt and wait until the big bubbles have disappeared.
  5. Carefully remove the soaked rusks from the bowl using a spatula.
  6. Fry them until they have a crispy brown crust on one side and then turn them over. Fry them on the other side too crispy.
  7. Meanwhile, mix the sugar with the rest of the cinnamon and serve with the French toast.
