Fried cod in green sauce

A tasty French recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, peas extra fine (frozen), herb stock cube, garlic, dry white wine (Montestell), cod fillet (a ca. 150 g), salt and freshly ground pepper, flour, olive oil, butter and parsley.

Directions

  1. Pea the peas in about 1 hour. Bring 2 dl of water to the boil and add stock cube in it. Slice garlic and cut into pieces. Pour 2/3 of peas, garlic, herb broth and wine into a smooth sauce in a food processor.
  2. Dice the cod fillets with kitchen paper and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Fish by flourish. Fry oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in frying pan with non-stick coating. Cook cod in 6 to 7 minutes until light and golden brown. Meanwhile, heat the pea sauce on low heat. Stir in the remainder of the peas and boil for about 2 minutes. Stir in 1 tablespoon of butter through sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Spread fish over four plates. Create sauce and garnish with parsley. Serve the rest of the sauce. Tasty with baked potatoes and (carrot) salad.
