Italian gnocchi with sauerkraut and frankfurters wrapped with smoked bacon.

Directions

  1. Heat the sauerkraut with the apple juice and caraway seed for 15 minutes on low heat with the lid on the pan.
  2. Wrap 2-3 slices of bacon every Frankfurter.
  3. Bake the Frankfurters in a frying pan with non-stick coating without oil or butter in 10 min. On low heat around crispy.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the gnocchi according to the instructions on the packaging. Grate the gruyere.
  5. Drain the gnocchi into a colander, put it back in the pan and mix in the butter and cheese. Season with pepper.
  6. Let the sauerkraut drain. Serve the gnocchi with the sauerkraut and Frankfurters.
